Chicken Noodle Casserole

Noodles make a homestyle casserole that uses pantry staples for a quick, delicious meal.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Mueller's Noodles
  • 1 (10-1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10-1/2 ounce) can onion soup
  • 1-1/2 cups longhorn cheese, grated
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 (2 ounce) jar sliced pimentos
  • 1/4 cup almonds, slivered
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken or 1-1/2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • Buttered bread crumbs
Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Cook noodles according to package directions.
    2. Combine soups and cheese in a small saucepan. Heat until cheese is melted.
    3. Combine cooked noodles, soup and cheese mixture, celery, pimento almonds and chicken. Pour into 2-1/2 quart greased casserole dish. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs over the top.
    4. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
