Fettuccine Alfredo Classico

Ingredients
- 16 ounces Mueller's Fettuccine
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add cream and bring to a boil. Cook until reduced to about 1-1/2 cups, 4 to 5 minutes, be careful not to let it boil over. Stir in half the Parmesan cheese and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Pour pasta into pan with sauce and toss together. Serve with remaining Parmesan and pepper.
