TGIF Fettuccine
Mushrooms and ham make a tasty match. In this pasta sauce, they are joined by roasted red pepper and white wine that add a spark to the fettuccine.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces Mueller's Fettuccine
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 1 pound ham, sliced into thin strips
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup diced roasted red pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or consommé
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Heat oil in a large skillet; add garlic, ham, mushrooms and fresh basil. Cook and stir for two minutes. Add cooked pasta and red pepper; toss to blend. Add wine and chicken broth; cook until it starts to simmer then add cheese.
- Stir gently to combine all ingredients. Season with salt and black pepper.
