Broccoli Chicken Casserole

Add a nutritional twist to mac 'n cheese with broccoli and chicken.



Mueller's Elbow Macaroni

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Mueller's Elbow Macaroni
  • 3/4 pound processed American cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups cubed, cooked chicken
  • 20-ounce package (about 3-1/2 cups) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained

 

Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 3-quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
    2. Cook pasta according to package directions.
    3. In saucepan over medium heat, combine cheese, milk and garlic powder. Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
    4. Stir in hot pasta. Add remaining ingredients.
    5. Spoon into prepared dish. Cover. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
