Chicken Alfredo Pesto Dumplings

Mueller's Old Fashioned Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Mueller's Yolk Free Dumpling Ribbons
  • 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
  • 1 container (7 oz) refrigerated pesto with basil
  • 11 oz. fully-cooked, frozen grilled chicken strips, partially thawed (about 2 cups strips; 1/2 of a 22 oz bag)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced

Directions

  1. Cook dumplings according to package directions; drain. Return dumplings to the hot pan.
  2. Add Alfredo sauce, pesto and chicken. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes until chicken is heated through.
  3. Gently stir in Parmesan and tomatoes.
  4. If desired, two cups of any type of cooked chicken can be substituted for frozen chicken breast strips.
