Easy Meat Sauce with Ziti

Many kids love the taste of Mueller's spaghetti and meat sauce! In this version, cheese makes the recipe even more appealing. Try any short pasta like Rotini or Penne.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces Mueller's Ziti
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (26 to 30 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar or American cheese
Directions
  1. Slightly undercook pasta and drain.
  2. Cook ground beef and onion in a 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring frequently. Cook 4 minutes or until meat is browned. Stir in spaghetti sauce, salt and pepper; heat to simmering. Stir in pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Cover and heat 1 minute, or until cheese is melted.
