Pinch Me I'm Green Basil Broccoli Pasta
With lightly seasoned sauce and plenty of broccoli, this recipe makes a quick, easy and nutritious pasta dinner. A sprinkling of Parmesan cheese nicely finishes the dish.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces Mueller's Ziti
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bunch broccoli, trimmed and separated into florets
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Parmesan cheese, grated, to taste
Directions
- Cook pasta according to pasta directions.
- Heat oil in a large skillet; gently cook and stir garlic until golden. Add broccoli; toss to coat with garlic-oil mixture. Add broth, cover tightly and simmer 7 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Add 2 tablespoons basil and hot pasta; mix thoroughly.
- Transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle with parsley, pepper, Parmesan cheese and remaining basil.
