Red Wine tomato sauce & Whole Grain Spaghetti

lots of flavor and 100% homemade. This has flavor that explode in your mouth and comes out strong with whole grain pasta.

Ingredients
- 8 - fresh ripe on the vine tomatoes (chopped)
- 4 - fresh ripe on the vine tomatoes (only top cut off)
- 1/2 cup red cooking wine
- 6- cloves fresh garlic
- 1- small can tomato paste
- 1/2 med white onion
- 1-tablespoon pepper
- 1/2- tablespoon kosher salt
- 1/8 cup fresh basil
- 1/8 cup fresh thyme
- 3-tablespoon rosemary
- 1/8 cup fresh Italian parsley
- 2- large fresh bay leaves
- 2- tablespoons marjoram
- 3-cups water
- 3/4- box Mueller's Whole Grain Spaghetti
- Freshly grated cheese of choice (for topping)
Directions
- In a food processor, add garlic, onion, pepper, salt, basil, thyme, rosemary, Italian parsley, bay leaves, and majoram. Blend well.
- In a large pot, add red wine sauce, tomatoes, and water. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to bring to slow boil. Boil for 25-minutes, stirring frequently and pressing on whole tomatoes to reduce their size.
- Add blended ingredients. Turn heat down to slow simmer and cook for one and half hours stirring often.
- Cook Mueller's Whole Grain spaghetti as directed on box or to texture preference.
- Serve with cheese of choice as a topping.
