Shrimp & Asparagus Pasta with Lemon Ginger Sauce
Shrimp and pasta are a perfect marriage in this meal. The tangy sweetness of lemon complements the shrimp and adds a flavorful zip to the asparagus.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces Mueller's Angel Hair
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and asparagus; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes. Add shrimp; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until pink.
- Combine chicken broth, lemon peel, lemon juice, ginger and cornstarch; add to skillet. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil for 1 minute.
- Toss with Angel Hair.
