A creamy, zesty swirl of pasta fun. Loaded with mushrooms, garlic, spinach, and a cheeky little kick…a weeknight win!
Prepare ½ box of Mueller’s® Penne pasta according to package directions, drain.
Meanwhile, in medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter; add garlic. Cook for 1 minute; do not brown.
Drain tomatoes, and reserve juice. Add diced tomatoes with 1/4 cup reserved juice, basil, salt and pepper: heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes or until most liquid is reduced.
Add cream; heat on low heat for 1 minute or until thickened.
Toss hot pasta and sauce, sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately.
