It all began in 1867 in New Jersey, when German immigrant and baker Christian Mueller finally mastered egg noodles in his home kitchen. They quickly became a local favorite, and soon he was delivering bundles of homemade pasta perfection to his neighbors’ doorsteps and local restaurants.
Two decades later, he opened his first pasta kitchen in Newark. By 1890, Mueller’s noodles were available at grocers across the Northeast. Today, our pasta still brings that wholesome touch to kitchens across the country, making Mueller’s the original American pasta.
